Uploading and downloading data
There are several ways to move data in and out of XNAT. Which one suits you depends on how much data you have and whether you are working in the browser or from a script.
Before uploading, review how to anonymise your data and confirm the appropriate process for its source.
Getting data in
Section titled “Getting data in”Upload from the browserThe compressed image uploader. Best for a session or two at a time.
Custom upload formsA reusable form for repeated uploads of non-DICOM data, such as analysis outputs.
The prearchiveWhere uploads land before they are archived. Resolve conflicts and partial sessions here.
Getting data out

From the command line
Section titled “From the command line”Scripted uploads and downloads use the same tools in both directions, and need an alias token rather than your AAF login.
